How would people feel if it was announced in the next couple of weeks that he has signed a new improved contract? Pleased that we've kept him or disappointed that the club have ceded to Seluk/Yaya's ridiculous strategy? At this point if he stays due to a back down or the club refusing to budge, I wouldn't mind so much but if he gets what he wants by behaving this way, I'd be pretty pissed off.

I'd be so bitterly disappointed in Khaldoon, Soriano and Txiki if that happened.

However IMO the one thing that is most certainly assured is that our highest paid player is not going to get a new contract at 31 having signed one 12 months ago, no matter how good a season he's just had. If he thinks he's Messi or Ronaldo he's deluding himself and has that kind of power he's deluding himself.

He also played in the Ukraine, but doesn't follow the league.

It's clear to me that he is monitoring the french league.

I also think that Seluk and Toure are making comments about Barcelona to force PSG to make a big offer. "300k a week or we will join Barcelona" kind of thing.

Paris aren't going to sign him ... wait and see.

It's only just dawned on me that Yaya has played at Monaco once already in his career. If I was a betting man all my money would be on him going there IF he moves anywhere this summer. No one else can afford him or will want to pay the money it'll cost in transfer fee and wages.

Said that to someone on PM earlier, Billy.

I suspect he's not the prospect on the transfer market he thinks he is, looking for £250K a week and a long contract at the age of 31, and where pace is a big part of his game. Especially if City hold out for £15-20m or whatever.

Unless he accepts a 2 or two and a half year deal, I can't see there being many options beyond one or two money-no-object clubs looking for a leg-up.
15 or 20 million!! Fellani £27m. HaHa, stay off the drugs.

Re: Yaya Toure

He may well have done champions2014 bud, that is pure conjecture though and i can only reason with the facts matey.

Unless he got hacked which would have been sorted by now i feel.

Yes, well Jeff, I'm standing outside the Etihad and none of the clubs top staff are here to talk to me as they're all in Abu Dhabi, but I think we can take that as a sign that yes, the Sheikh has gotten bored and all their players are being released on frees

A pay rise would be very disappointing and I really can't see City cave in to this. Not after they've worked so hard on restructuring all the contracts. He's either staying on the same terms or we'll be selling him.

He cannot come back now unless he sacks his Manager and eats a large piece of humble pie.

This should be his new theme tune.

Yeah, because those who are "in the know" on this will be both hanging around the Etihad, and will be just waiting to give SSN the exclusive here.......

Do SKY actually think people believe they are a legitimate news breaking source, as opposed to just regurgitating what the legitimate sources say?

older rat boy on pleading for a job atm

wait - City are surprised - City can show their teeth like they did with Tevez........?

if true it's pathetic - he can't hold us ransom....get rid of him now ...

James Cooper said "I was in Abu Dhabi and they told us all constantly it was Yaya's birthday "

Balague says it's the same words exactly as when he was at Barca when Saluk offered him on a weekly basis to Madrid
