Doesn't sound like the fernando discussed on the transfer forums who's a pure defensive midfielder, if anything to take on yaya and dinhos defensive duties to make them able to concentrate on attacking.
Wouldn't be surprised if talks are being planned though, makes sense to sort out what yayas actually after and what we want to do (convince him to stay/sell him off)

Apparently, this is the reason that set off the 'birthday-gate' fiasco with the player and his agent. Scouting reports indicate that Fernando is a technically better, all-round 'young' pacy version of Toure but who can tackle, as well. Toure is aware of Fernando's ability, apparently.
As soon as Toure knew that City were going back for him this summer, it set him off.
For Toure to feel 'threatened', I do hope that Fernando will prove that he is as good and can live up to the 'hype'
