I've read the statement it says:

"Since I joined City and single handedly won the FA Cup, League Cup and Title twice there hasn't been a single gold statue built in my honour outside the ground. My birthday still hasn't been made a national holiday in the UK or UAE. The Sheikh is a billionaire and yet he wouldn't buy off a few footballers to make me Player of the Year or bribe Time to make me Man of the Year. None of the members of staff of City bow their heads in my presence. The final insult is there have no changes to the City crest to honour my achievements.

I may still stay at City despite my horrific treatment if I get a gold statue or 2 and maybe a yacht and a Bugatti and one of the smaller Emirates."

No mention of the Nobel prize he feels he deserves? Can't remember in which category though...

Is there anyone brave enough to say they subscribe ? And what does the interview say ?

I can't tell from the preview if this is actually an exclusive or just a rehash of old quotes. His agent did give the first story to them (albeit a different journo) but then The Sun normally doesn't leave you wondering if they have an EXCLUSIVE or not.

We're all going to look pretty embarrassed when he announces after the World Cup that he's gay.

Or a ****.

Oh yes... a gay ****.

I hope to god that the first world class player still in his prime in any world sport to announce that he is gay does not chose to do so in this manner. That will be a historic and vital act and it doesn't need to be marred by "will he, won't he".

That said, I suppose we should take it in whichever way it comes.

Re: Yaya Toure

Supposing he stays, for whatever reason,.... and this thing blows over, what kind of reception do you think he will get from City fans at the first home game?
