Daft idea of course , but maybe he just fancies living in Paris more than in Manchester.

From reading on here in the past (posters taking the missus for a weekend in Paris and looking for tips, general opinions , places to see etc) and , a lot of people have been unimpressed with Paris. Now of course, with his money, Yaya would be living in a nice area/suburb of it.

Supposing he stays, for whatever reason,.... and this thing blows over, what kind of reception do you think he will get from City fans at the first home game?

I hope for an away game first. If he does well then fine, if not they'll have aright go at the first home game.

Are the champions not at generally home first game of the season.....or is that one of those urban myths ?

No, we was at home for the first game last season (scum away).

Harsh, but fair. A shithole with a couple of tourist attractions, would be a more accurate description.

Today's press reports that Yaya will not be speaking to the media after his comments on Paris were taken out of context.

I'm prepared to believe Yaya on this. The press have shown consistency in trying to destabilise our progress and this could well be the same.

Other than his agent's nonsense birthday rant and an alleged supportive tweet, we have heard nothing from the player himself.

Yaya retains my support until he leaves the club.
