Huws is even more inexperienced than Barkley. He should be loaned for an year in my opinion, to a top division side if possible.

To be fair Barkley only went on loan for a few months to the championship same as huws..both similar write ups

We may have players as talented as Barkley but it's a hell of a lot harder to break through here

Pogba is vastly overrated imo.

He's a very good prospect,but light years off Yaya.

I'd still be looking to Pjanic.

I cannot believe the ridiculous overhyping of Ross bleedin Barkley. Ok so he's a good prospect and is English. Great, got that.

And who knows he might pan out to be the next Messi but very very very very very very likely he will not. To think of him reaching Yaya levels at this stage of his football development is laughable and pure fantasy. Yaya is undoubtedly one of the world's top players FFS. Barkley is a just a promising young kid from Liverpool, that is all.

So who is the player to replace Yaya then?

On a one-to-one basis, we all know that there is no single player in the world to replace Yaya Toure. That said, I'm convinced that the team as a whole can definitely replace him. We just won the league while missing, for a large part of the season, one of the two or three best strikers in the world. Yes, that that was so was partly due to Yaya. The thing is, our squad's that good that we can carry the absence of one player, with the arguable exception of Silva.

So u think Silva is more valuable 2 us than Kompany cause without him we would b fucked at the back, hope he keeps Messi quiet tonight and I think he will , regards Silva or Yaya I give 20 odd goals to someone who could not finish ,if his life depended on it

We don't necessarily need a "direct" replacement for Yaya. We just need to learn to cope without him (which can be done). I'm sure I seen stats somewhere that showed our games with and without him and they went in our favour.

Barkley would be a great player but nowhere near yaya. Also not sure he would be keen too move here unless we went balls out for him like fergie did for utd's targets.

What about giving huws a chance?

He's only 20 years old. He has time to improve. At this young age he's already one of the best attacking midfielders in the league.
