<I just had to> :-)

I walked right into that one didn't i.
Fair do's that daz mate...bastardo :-D

I wonder if it was a straight "fuck i better fix this" or he has some promise of us regarding leaving at the end of the season.
Most top teams with the cash will not want a midfielder on the wrong side of 30 i would imagine.

Yaya! You said your agents speaks 100% for you. He said you staying at City was 50% at best.

Why don't you 100% get your fucking story straight!

Good that the whole non Saga is over. Move on from here and support the team and players

What ever anyone thinks of what him or hes twat agent have said or not said hes a fucking brilliant player truly world class so at the end of the day were better with him than without him

Well I don't know why or how the whole episode happened but I'm glad it's now resolved. He now alive in my own little world, now let's keep our title.
The whole episode happened because he thinks he's more important/better/bigger name than he is. He then colluded with his agent to pull some shit on the club like CRonaldo (said he felt depressed and hinted he might leave) and Messi (said the people he was dealing with over contracts didn't know what they were doing he hinted he might leave) have both done with their clubs to get a huge new deal.

City have seen through it and we've a seen Yaya and his agent for what they really are. City didn't fold like Madrid and Barça did yet we still have the player.

But he's a great player and we can keep him without having to lose tens of millions more on him, at the same time as planning on either replacing him or putting a plan in place to change the way we play in midfield for when he goes.

Win-win for City.

He touted himself around like a cheap hooker . Having got no takers he's come creeping back to us as though nothing ever happened. Great football player ,greater fool because despite his wealth he fails to understand the value of being loved by the fans. Never get the same admiration from me again no matter what he does.

Ha ha that's it,well done stony!

So.....here we go.......''If we knew you were staying we'd have baked a cake, baked a cake, baked a cake,if we knew you were staying we'd have baked a cake, baked a cake for you!''....Swiftly followed by the Ya Ya song.

This would be funny as fuck.

No wonder the media write the shit they do when there are thickos like those on this thread.

There never was a story it's all lies designed to destabilise our club.

Stop reading shite papers and sucking it up or you're no better than the rags who write it.

It's started as a joke story about a Birthday cake and those stupid enough to believe it ended up with an all out hate fest against one of our best players for no reason it really is pathetic.

Do you not see that every time we sign a good player the media rags try and cause a problem?

Balotelli, Tevez, Aguero etc

It's laughable.

How many negative RVP stories do you hear or Giggs???

The prick is still not getting my vote for player of season.

I bet he'll be losing sleep over that.
He is the player of the season, regardless of what a few pearl clutchers think.
I think this daft thread can now be safely consigned to cyberspace now, and then we can ask Samaritans to set up a helpline for those still suffering their hourly 'Yaya Is A ****' posting withdrawal symptoms.

one thing the thread has shown is the one bad issue I have with a great forum for us all ,that is the inability of some to accept that someone else has a different point of you, and despite the very object of the site ie discussing City, it gets nasty and frankly abusive We all have a point of view re YAYA and are right to be annoyed by the shenanigans ,but we have to put it to bed and allow him to do the job of keeping our hands on the title At present I cannot think of anybody out there who can give us what he does and yes he can be a lazy fuxcker when he wants to But the two Fernands Ya ya Nasri Silva etc will do for me

I take it you missed what was actually said at the time by the agent and Yaya himself backing what his agent said, on Twitter, not via a journalist? A lot of the original tweets were deleted, then a bit of back tracking went on, then it was complete silence, now the agent and Yaya are on record saying he's remaining a City player there were no problems.

I didn't need the press at any point during all of that to know what was going on.

I don't think he ever actually wanted to leave. He just wanted to pull a Messi and CRonaldo and tactically complain over fuck all to make the club shit themselves that he might leave and offer him a gigantic contract. The club called his bluff and we now have saved tens of millions and still have the player. Now Yaya and the agent are saying there was nothing in it all.

Nobody was trying to destablise anything apart from Yaya and his agent trying to undo a lot of hard work that Pellegrini Begiristain and Soriano had done with the whole 'holistic' drive by coming out with some of the most ridiculous bullshit since Tévez wouldn't warm up and went AWOL or Stephen Ireland said he didn't care what the score was when he was just sat on our bench.

It's done now, but let's not be so naive to think this was all a press driven thing.
