Best news I've heard in a long time. I really wanted Yaya to join but to hear that we will not be bullied by agents and selling clubs is far greater I think. Better for us to struggle for 4th one more year than to be paying out ridiculous sums only for Fifa to later hit us over the head with it.

Let's move on to plan b, then c, etc, etc. And if we have to use our current squad.

Even if this is all BS I still hope that the AbuDhabis have lost patience with others stealing our money. We don't need to spend a quarter of what we do. Holding it back and investing in youth for a year or two and I bet the other clubs would eventually come crawling for some dough. I think people underestimate the way in which our signings keep our clubs afloat.

I actually can't remember. Just recall seeing one or two saying he signed.

Well the only one i bat for is tolmie m8, he said we were in for yaya but never once said he's signed. I think posters on here get mixed up with true itk and wums like bluecreed etc

Thats rather harsh don't you think?

Montolivo's a good player and would bring in the creativity you so desperatly need in the centre of the park. Would be cheaper than both Milner and Toure anyway.
