Thats rather harsh don't you think?

Montolivo's a good player and would bring in the creativity you so desperatly need in the centre of the park. Would be cheaper than both Milner and Toure anyway.

do I smell an intruder?

Yes a Juventus fan on a City forum. Shock horror huh?

hi, juventino, ignore the lads, I reckon they've just got back from the pub and are a bit pissed off that the yaya story has taken an unfortunate turn....

montolivio is a fine player but a bit slender. I think we're after a driving force for our midfield, someone with real power and a bit of pace, as well as a good range of passing.

on another topic what are your thoughts on diego... how did you rate his season, would you be sad to see him go?

Cheers for the welcome.

Diegos season was no worse than any other Juventus player but as Manchester City fans may know by now. If you've been bought for 25 million pounds and don't hold the team up all by yourself then you're deemed a failure. Diego's stats are better than Sneijders in Serie A yet everybody raves about Sneijder. Diego was destined for failure with Juventus staright from day one, with a Juventus side that has no width since the retirement of Nedved and a lack of movement upfront Diego cannot operate without these two components. It seems were moving back to the more traditional 4-4-2, with the impending signing of Krasic and potentially Dzeko, Wolfsburg representatives are due in Turin tommorow. Diego could become the man we all saw at Werder Bremen.

I would be very annoyed to see Diego leave, we've given worser players than him another season to impress so I see no reason for him not to be given a second chance. I certainly don't want to see another Henry episode.

-- Tue Jun 08, 2010 1:16 am --

Thats why I've brought myself over here. Alot more exitement in the transfer thread.

So whats your sides outlook on the up coming season?

Moving back to a more traditional 4-4-2. We have already signed Pepe and were very close to signing Krasic and could potentially sign Dzeko soon enough aswell.

This is how we'll look next season:-

Dzeko

Diego

Giovinco-Melo-Marchisio-Krasic

Criscito-Chiellini-Bonucci-M.Motta

Buffon
