Yaya Toure [Merged]

Taken from the MEN website. Sounds pretty confident. Then again.

yaya toure is a done deal. it was sorted out on monday, where he passed a medical, and gave an interview for the offical site, before heading off on holiday. It will be signed off today by both clubs, and announced either today or tomorrow. City officals flew to catalyna on monday, where they gave him a medical, and he signed his contract, before filming and interview.

Cant wait to see him crunch old fletcher in next years derby!

really hope we get yaya

I think he is the key to allowing RM to be more flexible in the way he sets up his team (ie different formations and different personnel)

yaya is such a dominant force in midfield it will release the other midfielders and attackers (no more stupid shouts for robinho to track back and tackle!!)

According to Barcelona's official website, as quoted by The Independent:

A statement on Barcelona's official website read: "Barcelona’s director general Joan Oliver has said that the club has agreed the exits of Yaya Toure and Thierry Henry, but that at the moment the final moves are in their hands.

"In case of Toure, Oliver has recognised an understanding between the club interested in the midfielder, Manchester City, and Barca, but the transfer cannot be made official yet."

so i am guessing this is a done deal?

Those quotes are from about 3 days ago. But hopefully it will be completed tomorrow.

I really liked this player when i first saw him playing for Olympiakos against us a few years back in the Thomas Cook trophy if i remember rightly he scored that day too

Never mind the Toure Brothers, or even the Brightwell Brothers, Neville Bothers, Whitley Brothers, Gallagher Brothers, Da Silva Brothers, Gibb Brothers, Chemical Brothers, or Bez on Celebrity Big Brother..... The Glazer Brothers will be Manchester's favourite siblings for MANY years to come.

lol

Possibly two of the worst sites on the internet.

When Santa Cruz said Yaya is a good signing earlier, do we think he was just saying it hoping it happens? Or he knows?

If it is a done deal I bet he gets in shit now
