I know people are worried about getting ripped off and paying too much. But in the grand scheme of things, £30m is a drop in the ocean to our brilliant owner. We mess about at £20m and someone nips in with £25m we lose him.

When I look at the money wasted by Hughes I think , fuck it, whats another £30m.

Not my money I know, but its still loose change. And its not going to a rival like Villa.

Who cares what anyone else thinks?

We do not need yaya toure, hopefully we don't get him.

Well mancini seem's to think we do, so i'll take his professional football opinion on players over your's if thats ok......

You obviously didn't watch the same midfield I did last season. The same midfield that many opposition midfields just walked through due to lack of organisation and communication and sometimes just sheer ability. This guy can take games by the scruff of the neck and be more resiliant than our current players.

Lets have it right fella. We'd be strengthening the best team in the world and once you're the best and number 1, there's only one direction you can head. £30,000,000 for Yaya Touré would be a bit much for a Barcelona substitute, but it just shows the gulf in class between us and them in my books. On the other hand, that gulf is between Barca and most clubs worldwide.

I'd be concerned if we were giving it to a Champions League Qualifier team as they'd be our rivals for not next season but the season after once we've finished in the top four (minimum RM would expect I bet!) or to a premiership rival club and that's why Milner doesn't appeal at the moment really.

If we want good players we're going to have to pay decent money, and invariably it's going to be to decent teams, as they have decent players, but I'd rather it was a foreign team, and further, I'd rather it was a team that was already good and has money to spend already i.e Barca, Real Madrid or Inter Milan.

Never mind Yaya Toure, I hope we don't get that Messi fella, and getting Ibrahimovic would be a disaster!

Would love Ibra, messi wouldn't hack it in the prem.

We have 3 dm's on our books atm. We do not need another.

Everything he offers we can say we was missing last season. He will be a giant for us in midfield in more ways than one.
Please let it happen

Yaya is superior to our DM's he also very versatile, box 2 box and centre Def, will be a superb addition imo.

Re: Yaya (Merged)

news regarding dezko(stated earlier) & yaya toure & Zlatan Ibrahimović ..hi there,im actually new to the forum so greetings.the reason for joining is that Im part of and join different forums all over europe as i recieve information regarding transfers and i am typically a football fan in general too and watch games all over spain italy, england and germany and even the mls in the states. The way i get my information is because im part of a private sponsorship brand & company that is in contact with nearly every different brand and logo throughout the world as my company sells them on to different clients and mainly football clubs.I speak to different people at diffrent clubs who are the top dogs regarding the goings on at different clubs around the globe.

The info i have for you today is that of a one edin dezko.I spoke to one of our german colleagues who is part of the voltswagon brand who is a very close friend of Dieter Hoeness the wolfsburg director.the information that i was given is that manchester city f.c actually sent over a message via e-mail asking mr Hoeness what the specfic details were regarding edin dezko and his contract, this then made Mr Hoeness very angry as he felt it was disrespectful towards his player and he had a large conversation with a mr Gary Cook.Your representatives then spoke to edin dezko's agent and Mr Hoeness regarding an offer that manchester city were willing to make to which mr Hoeness refused to do unless a specific figure was agreed.Manchester city representatives then tryed to arange a meeting with wolfsburg Director Mr Hoeness to which he replyed to mr cook,if your not willing to meet our asking price then there is no point in having this meeting and wasteing each others time.Manchester city representatives then went back to the drawing board and are still considering a take it or leave it offer but are assessing there options as they have other targets on there hands. The target mancini really wants in that of a one Zlatan Ibrahimović to which his agent is trying to force not to happen but is very dissapointed at the way the press and barcelona have spoke about himself and his client regarding his future. His agent stated to barcelona that there is interest from 3 clubs.that being 1 german club,1 italian club and an english club with large interest, this being manchester city f.c.His agent doesnt want his client to move as he is making a profit from Ibrahimović apprently playing at barcelona and is using city as a smokescreen to prove if he is really wanted by barcelona.Thats all i have regaring that specific deal at the moment,it may well happen but Ibrahimović agent is playing a waiting game.Until his agent sits down with barcelona and sees where his clients sits in there plans next season,if it doesnt go well he can then speak to the interested parties regarding his transfers.Alot of people dont realise that for every game Ibrahimović plays, his agent reccieves a bounus, this is in his agents contract, for this reason im not to sure.most probably due to an agreement he has with barcelona and his client himself. What im basically saying is that Ibrahimović's agent does not want his player to be sat on a bench when he could be playing for a club were he will play and be happy and at the same time earn a bounus for himself.I will keep everybody updated with the info i recieve as i have colleagues at the big clubs in europe as im always speaking to clubs and companys regarding there sponsership deals for clubs and players.

Yaya toure...prior to the bid of 24.5 million that your club made in janurary 2009 for this player as i do know that the club did for definatly bid for him as a very close colleague of mine who works in the barcelona sports regime quoted last year.At this moment in time all i know is that yaya toure earns 2.4 million a year at barcelona and is looking for an increase in his wage as well as a club that suits him best for his ambition. The reason his agent is quoted saying that he will be heading to england is because infact he has entered talks with 3 english clubs.manchester city, chelsea,& tottenham hotspur regarding his services. His agent is in fact in talks with all three clubs as all three clubs have agreed to enter talks regarding his wage demands and agreements. His agent is infact in england and is set to meet with club c.e.o garry cook this evening to discuss terms.one of these three clubs will sign yaya toure aslong as they agree to a figure of 25.5 million that barcelona are asking for.i will update more as i know.i feel it will be tomorrow.

Thank you.
