Have you read the thread? There have been a few moaning about more defensive midfielders etc but most of us recognise Yaya for what he is.
I have read the thread mate but the daft comments always stand out more and this was the first one that i agree with everything that has been said.
I've just realised this is a different thread lol, sorry about that, it's the 60 page Yaya thread that has most of the positive comments from Oasis_City, Blue Elmo, Johnny_on and myself amongst others. Apologies.

So are you implying that he'll replace De Jong and be asked to play the holding role?
I expect him to play further forward than De Jong (or Barry) with another similar, box-to-box, driving midfielder, a new signing obviously, or at least Barry, next to him.
Any room for strikers in this midfield packed team of yours? Assuming you also plan on having 2 wingers.
Not necessarily two wingers, more forwards, the width would come from the full backs:
We need two players for every position so I'm listing both and putting my 2nd choice in brackets:
-------------------------------------------------- Hart (Given) -----------------------------------------
Van Der Wiel (Zabaleta) -- Kompany (Boateng) ------- Lescott (K Toure) ----------- Kolarov (Bridge)
------------------------------------------------- De Jong (Barry) ----------------------------------------
------------------- Yaya Toure (M Johnson) ----------------------- Martinez (Vieira) ------------------
---------- A. Johnson (Shauny) ------------------------------------------------- Silva (Robinho) ------
------------------------------------------------- Tevez (Adebayor) ------------------------------------------
This would be my first choice team for the big games, obviously formations and personnel would change depending on opposition and whether we were at home or away. Signing another striker, Dzeko or Ibrahimovic, would be great as I'd like to see 4-3-1-2 in certain games but the required signings are:
Attacking full backs - Van Der Wiel and possibly Kolarov
Centre Back - Boateng
Box-to-box midfielders - Yaya Toure and Martinez
Creative player - Silva (Di Maria, Aguero, Gourcuff, Hamsik, Cole would all be great too)
