If you erase the Yaya from the text that reads like a eulogy of Tony Grant ;-)Yaya on his game was one of the greatest midfielders the game has ever seen. He had virtually everything: speed, brutal strength, amazing control and passing, superb ball retention, a great finisher, amazing at set pieces (especially penalties).
He was that good, albeit too infrequently, and not enough in Europe to be a true great of the game.
