Sky Sport Italia claim Inter are waiting for Yaya Toure to make a ‘grand gesture’ demanding Manchester City sell him.

The Nerazzurri and Coach Roberto Mancini have made absolutely no secret of their desire to sign the Ivorian over the summer.

According to this evening’s reports in Italy, Inter have already agreed basic terms with the player’s entourage.

They now want Toure to force City’s hand by demanding the club release him, possibly by terminating the contract by mutual consent.

Inter have no intention of paying the €20m price-tag placed on the player, so the pressure is on Toure to extricate himself from the contract.

pmsl. How about a grand gesture where we tell Inter to go fuck themselves and Yaya that he's playing for the EDS for the next two years if no one stumps up the transfer fee?

Yaya is still class on the ball, and over 10 yards where he has got power, but over longer distance he is a liability so yes he adds goals but he also loses goals because he never closes down. I have no idea whether he can get fit. I suspect he can, but he is a massive man and 32. There's no way he's going on playing for much longer

he's deteriorated so much this season. The unknown is whether that's because he's not motivated

Always nice to see Bob treating one of his old clubs and supporters with respect.

We should fork out for a full page advert thanking him if Inter do have our pants down on this.

As for Yaya.....no fucking cake or cards!

I hope khaldhoon tells him to fuck off and inter if that's their game!!
We can just stick him in the reserves. He's already been dropped. We can't lose anything on what he's given this season.

I'm really amazed that he thinks Inter is a better option

Either
1) he can't get fit and play at the level that's required so wants an easy life in Serie A
2) He's pissed off with City.
