What a load of shite journalism ..... and apparently Yaya has 'stalled on new contract deals at City' .... We've not even offered him a contact ... All this nonsense from Toure's agent and Inter is posturing and trying to screw us on a deal ..... IF our wage structure can afford we could keep him and bring in a Pogba ... If we used Yaya as No.10 or off the bench as an impact player I think we could do well IF his attitude was right .... the trouble is he's a prima donna and I reckon would be one very bad apple in the dressing room if not happy with his lot. Pellegrini has not shown he's got the balls to keep a fit Toure on the bench!! .... All in all with the circus that surrounds him I think the club are much better off without him, we've seen the best of him, as an attacking force he has been one of the best in the world, personally I think the way Pellegrini wants to play and the way he used him in a stretched two man midfield when you know he is not a very willing player to track back quickly and defend is managerial naivety of the highest order!!

I've been watching Ya Ya since he joined us and have to say he is a magnificent player. The stick he has and is still receiving is absolutely ridiculous, not only is he a big game player who has got us out of trouble countless times but he is the heart beat of this side.If we look at the amount of games he has played in the last year it's staggering full Premier league, Champions league, FA Cup,League Cup, World Cup & ACON. All this on the back of losing a brother to cancer no wonder he's looked mentally and physically jaded. I hate slating our supporters but some need to remember to be supporter's and not slag of our best player #together

Perhaps you should send that last point to Yaya directly...does he not have to play by the same rules as the supporters?

He could quite easily have not done anything, I don't think he would bother doing it if he was going.

Its a bluff to City. You don't sell me to Bobby you have to eat my entire contract and I come back and play another year like last year. The lower Yaya and Seluk get his fee, the more he makes in wages. Its that simple.

Mate, I dont think anyone is calling Yaya and everyone would agree, what he's done at the club and for this club is absolutely amazing BUT....City won nothing this year and that's because we are sticking with older players that are starting to slow down and their play is declining and when you add the fact that the hunger is not there for some of these players.......we really do need to start looking to the future...No matter how much we love Yaya...at 32/33 years old, he's part of our past and not our future....I agree it will be almost impossible to replace him this season but we better start trying....players like Yaya and Dzeko need to find new homes before the hunger drops off completely and we are left fighting for 4th every season.....need new blood before its too late....

I agree mate....don't want to write him off after one down year but you bring up a very good point....."if played in the correct way"........If Pelle wants to play the system he used for most of the season, then there is no room for Yaya....it just doesn't work........So, does Pelle change his system just to play to Yaya's strengths or do we bring in the replacements needed now and start looking to the future??
