Yaya Toure is world class. I said it before we signed him, said it after he signed, and I still believe it today. The best central midfield player in our squad. De Jong for example, would never have been able to play the pass to Silva which led to our second goal yesterday.
I do think he can a little lazy sometimes - but I also think that in yesterday's set up his job isn't to make lung bursting runs up the field, but to keep possession and to effectively play as a deep lying playmaker.

Started the move for Edin's second with a through ball to Nasri I think it was. He played well all game, breaking up play and winning more headers than I've ever seen him do before. Also set up Edin's hat-trick goal when he was supposed to be sitting back, legend.

I love it when he gets the ball in our own half and starts off on a run. You can literally see the opposition crapping themselves. Beast.
He's brilliant, confidence and calmness on the ball, weight and precision of passing, awareness of who's around him and where the space is, his movement to create angles to work the ball through midfield etc. I didn't see him much before he went to Barca, but you can tell he's spent a significant period of time there.

He'll probably get forward more when he plays alongside De Jong. But he still managed to lay Dzeko's 3rd goal on a plate and that pass before the 2nd goal wasnt bad either.
