Yaya Toure

Poster, quite frankly, you are deluded. If I wasn't busy I'd show you just how wrong you really are.

Watch the match again, mate.

Spurs lost one game all year at home last year and somebody actually starts a thread to complain about something after City thrashes them.

Ok then...

I know Dzeko had the game od his life but Barry was MOTM for me..
Unbelievable performance, he was everywhere, mopping up, starting moves, assists in goals and nearly scored a screamer.

Looks like he's got something against Yaya considering he thinks Barry was MOTM..

Yesterday it was Brilliant to see City playing short from Hart majority of time, playing out from back. This is where Toure is invaluable, Huge cultural change for EPL. OP, you know fuck all mate.

IMO, he is our best CM ( Yaya - Barry - NDJ - Milner )

He had the most accurate passes, had 1 assist ! not bad for CM.

I know he is not the best tackler, but he is one of the best in keeping possession.

I've never been his greatest fan as he can be very frustrating to watch, consistency not being his forte.
A very unorthodox player, often he is at the centre of many of our plays, his passing, attacking instincts and surges forward being superb, however,on the flip,it can be guaranteed he will 'go missing' on a couple of occasions each game as well,he doesn't like the rough stuff and yesterday he was at fault for us conceding through a lack of concentration/effort.

Overall, his abilities far outweigh any negativesand we are lucky to have him but lets not pretend he is beyond criticism - 7/10 yesterday.

His pass to Silva, to start the break away for the second goal, was sooooooooooo fuckin perfect its ridiculous, through the eye of a needle and delivered so that Dave didn't even break stride.
The only time he moseyed upfield, to really join in with the front four, he lays on a tap in for Edin to grab the match ball.
A bit leggy and beaten rather easily on a couple of occasions ? Yep - but no more fasting this season means he will be stronger from now on ............ his class and intelligence still shone today.

This thread made me laugh. People don't see the true worth of Yaya and the way he creates stability in the side. Just like Barry, because his role is more conservative it goes more unnoticed. If he did a couple of slide tackles here and there people would be talking about how wonderful and committed he is, but his roles not to do slide tackles, it's to organise the midfield. There is a reason why Yaya and Barry are regulars in the side, if people see it or not.

OP, were you high when you wrote this topic?

Yaya has won more medals than most of the PL, he played at Barce (Who by the way, Pep didn't want to sell him). He's given his all (90% of the time, when fully fit) for City, and he clearly cares about winning/playing well.

Did you mention he got an assist?

Did you mention that he could have scored vs Swansea/Bolton and even today?

He's so unique that you should count you're lucky stars he's at City, fantastic passer and he can power through any team in the Premier League. Utterly unique and irreplaceable in that side.

I don't know what game you're watching, did you catch the FA Cup Semi vs United when he tore them apart as well?

And if anyone's worrying about Yaya's fitness (I.E Post CS display) don't be too worried, every season of his career he normally starts slow and works through the gears into full fitness/sharpness. By December I guarantee he will have 6-8 goals for us at least.

I'm bemused by you're opinion on him...

Made some excellent passes that eventually led to goals, tackling isn't his main forté and although he switched off on the corner he still had a good match.
