Yeah, just like the facts about Pep and Yaya passed you by.
I don't doubt it
Though he had an OK game tonight. Packed defence, slow build up by us. He tried to make things happen in around the box. He could still play some games for us this season in a more advanced role?
He did give a sly look to joe at the end of the game when hart was clapping the fans, bit odd, probably just out of breath as he did more running tonight than the whole of last season.
That is perhaps why he wont be regarded in as high esteem as he should be for us by many. I know that Yaya has passed his best for us and looks slower and more disinterested each game, but I won't forget how important a player he's been in recent history.Looked like he's never been on a football pitch in his entire life..Short of ideas like he used to,cant run even when he wants to..Just a painful watch and glad Peps putting him out of his misery. An absolute legend he is but he'll be remembered more as a mercenary.
The argument was well and truly lost.Pretty sure he did run further than his game average for us last year. He certainly covered more ground than every other player on the park besides Delph. Delph ran 11.5km and Yaya walked 11.4km.
