During the years when we became good, Yaya was the standout player. The most influential player we had. He was a game changer in countless key games - the FA cup triumph, the run in to the first premier league, the league cup final. He was peerless. And so cool. But all good things come to an end.

i thought he played well, important pass for the goal. good cross to almost set up a goal. Added some quality in the middle of the pitch. Shouldnt have played 90 minutes. put himself about defensively initially this started to wain as the match went on.

Looks lean and quite fit., just needs some minutes on the pitch

I think we must have been watching a different game..

I thought he did okay tonight, moved the ball about well and covered a lot of ground.

This was his first full game of the season, so will get better if given more games..

Though he had an OK game tonight. Packed defence, slow build up by us. He tried to make things happen in around the box. He could still play some games for us this season in a more advanced role?

He did give a sly look to joe at the end of the game when hart was clapping the fans, bit odd, probably just out of breath as he did more running tonight than the whole of last season.

Yaya is closer to Pep than people think..

He has probabily not been impressed with the way Hart has handled his situation behind closed doors.

Yeah, it's not as if he's done it before.

But not nice to see him looking a shadow of the amazing player he used to be

Also felt a bit sorry for him with JH getting all the attention and Yaya nothing at all when its just as likely to be his last match for city as well

He was the only real quality player on the team going forward, well him & Nolito.

A class above everyone else on the pitch as a footballer & looks in really good shape.

Will always be one of the best footballers on the pitch whenever he plays. Thought he looked shattered though from 70 mins onwards and didn't think he looked in great shape. I was a lot lower down tonight so saw him fairly close up as opposed to my normal seat in the the third tier.
I'm not sure he has a future here after tonight's showing but if I'm proved wrong then it can only be beneficial.
