Yaya Toure

What happened in the game yaya didn't play this season? Oh yes we were equally as shit if not worse!

They are all to blame this season but none more so than the idiot in charge.

The odd game here and there without Yaya is a fallacy, players need a run of games together to form effective partnerships so it's irrelevant saying we're just as shit without him. You don't know because Pellegrini is a complete fuckwit who hasn't got the balls to drop Yaya to give it a try.

In my opinion it should always be Fernandinho and Delph, obviously you would have to change the style of play as it wouldn't be as possession orientated and would be more high pressing/counter attack orientated but it surely couldn't be any worse than the slow, dull, ponderous shit we're watching every week with Yaya in the team.

Can't see why there's all the slagging off of silva.

It's funny how when silva is shit city are. He makes us tick far more then yaya. Look at this season best performances were at the start of the season when silva was at his best and fully fit. He's not been fit since his return and suffered when he was out injured. Yaya as played most of the season so why aren't we so good as he's the best we've had according to many on here?

Ssssshhhh, you're not allowed to criticise Yaya the legend, haha!!

Whatever the arguments the idiot in charge is the real one to blame.

It's no coincidence that the biggest Toure cheerleaders are also the ones who seem to take delight in slagging Silva.
It seems impossible for them to recognise that they are two totally different players who've brought us success in their own way - instead they'd rather go all out turning Silva from the genius he is into a useless **** who we should be looking to get rid.
It's all very, very sad.

Loved Tevez for graft energy and when he was on the pitch he gave 100 pc plus he pissed off the rags

Agreed but i love them both

Interesting to see what happens with Silva, high energy players are required in a Pep team, something Silva's lacking of late

It's something he's always lacked, it's not just this season. He's never been renowned for his work rate or his energy. Agree though it will be interesting to see what happens to him. As someone else suggested a while back I think there'll be one or two of the old guard that will get one more season. Hard to know with Silva though whether he will because I don't really see Pep ever playing with a pure number 10 and there's nowhere else David fits into a Guardiola system.
