Yaya wants out allegedly

If Yaya was to leave then i would suggest it would be for a very heavy fee. He is about as good as it gets in the middle of the park and his value must have soared considering the form he has shown in a City shirt. I know he is rapidly aproaching that dreaded 30 yr old mark but we are in no great rush to let him leave so if any club wants him they will have to pay the right price for him £30M+

That said i would be absolutely gutted to see him leave, i can't think of a better powerhouse midfielder in the game and he would be a huge loss. Hope it's all bollocks and he stays.

Our local footy pundit over here in Dubai (Derek Whyte, ex-Celtic) has not only picked Hart, Kompany, Yaya and Silva in his team of the year but has selected Yaya as his player of the year...with Vincent as runner-up. Only Wooney was selected from the Rags in his team of the year alongside RVP in attack.

City have rubbished these claims. Was on the radio this morning

He won't go anywhere and without Yaya's denial it's obviously an attempt to get better deal.

I would tell them to back off, he is already on great deal.

Little bit disappointed with Yaya's silence tbh, didn't expect this from him and his camp.

He's just finished a very tough season and picked up an injury right at the end, I would think the last thing he wants right now is to start answering idiotic questions from the gutter press, just because he hasn't dashed straight over to put peoples minds at rest doesn't mean there is any truth in this story, he seems the type to keep his own council and turn the other cheek, if he had to answer every bit of press speculation instantly he may as well live in the media center, take a chill pill , relax and enjoy the summer knowing that next season every commentator will have to refer to us as "the champions" whether they like it or not, Yaya will have his say when he's ready and if he doesn't say anything he remains a City player, simples.

A look at his Wikipedia history and you'll see that he moves every 2 years 6 clubs since 2001 with Barca being his longest stay.
I would like to think that's his agent moving him on rather than Yaya wanting to move.
However he's had such a fantastic season his World profile has risen dramatically so the two questions I would ask are
1. What club can afford his transfer fee?
2. What club can afford his wages?
I would suggest only that Russian club who's name I can't spell!
It would be nice if Yaya came out and pledged allegience to MCFC and put the record straight.
He's 29 now and this is his last big contract let's hope it's with us...................

One of the best if not the best player for us in the past two years! Hopefully Yaya doesn't go especially to another english team. Right after I ordered my Yaya Toure jersey as well, how disappointing.
