The only one that is anything like him is Ramires.

Yaya plays a very specialised way that he can defend i think brilliantly and just sit infront of the defence all day but within seconds play passes and score goals that the likes of Messi etc would be proud of.

Not many if any like him in the world. Sneijder etc certainly are nothing like him.

Obviously the word 'continue' means: 'I want to sign for Real Madrid' .

Unless he wants to continue to sign for different clubs & be better perhaps ? Barca first, then Real ? Or maybe continue to be linked with different clubs ?

It couldn't possibly mean continue as he is. That wouldn't make sense.
 
If this whole thing is true, and Real want him, then I'd ask for Sahin in a swap deal + cash for Yaya.

what about playing dani alves in a defensive midfield role??? a few weeks ago i heard rumors he'd be leaving barca. he's one of the few people in the world who has the attacking AND defensive qualities to fill the hole that yaya would leave. he's definitely not the physical presence that yaya is though.

ramires sounds good, but i doubt chelsea would sell. never watched javi martinez, but everybody seems to be pretty confident of his abilities. danielle de rossi is a possible replacement. vidal maybe.
 
Is it possible Fergie has encouraged his "friend" Mourinho to show interest and unsettle our most influential match winner? Personally I would not swap him for Ronaldo. However as I said before it would be difficult to keep a player who is not happy. I am disappointed with Yaya's recent public comments. Tolmie made the comment "dont fret about Yaya." I assume either he is not going or we have a better replacement lined up! It's all very unsettling.
