Where are all the "Yaya is not world class" lot?
Nowhere
You only have to read the opposition view threads ric does
One name pops out near enough every time . . .Ya Ya as the city player who they wish they could have
.

Also I don't think anyone questions Yaya's abilty.

He just frustrates people at times as he is capable of bossing every game he plays in the Premier league, in fact he should boss every game.

But there are games when he just seems to be playing at 60%.

Yaya playing like he did today is a class above.

I've been frustrated for a long time now with many of Yaya's performances.
Maybe if we dare to drop him at Stoke today he will come back fighting?
When he's on top blob he can't be stopped.
Just wish we saw more of the performances when he won us games single handed.
Que Yaya to score the winner today now. I hope.
Ctwd
You look a dick now

That's all it is. It's clearly not a lack of talent, it's a lack of application. The Yaya we had today is one of the best midfielders in the world, no question. But we know he never has a problem getting out of bed to put the Rags in their place. It's putting the likes of Cardiff in their place, which he is orders of magnitude more than capable of doing, and just not doing it.

If Yaya plays like that every week we'd walk the league. I honestly don't think there is a player who can stand toe to toe with him in this league when he's in that mood. Hopefully this is where Pellegrini (and Fernandinho, Nasri, etc) can allow us to use the big man how hes most effective.

Back playing in the correct position today and last Tuesday. See the difference. Sure he can play deeper but,
I don't think he enjoys it as much and tbh is a fucking waste of an awesome player.

“I’m glad we’ve got Fellaini today,” offered Paddy Crerand, the Red-eyed former United midfielder before the match. “We’ve needed someone against Toure in recent seasons.”

Yaya is a humongous big creature on ridiculously slim, sculpted legs. i can't even imagine how difficult is it to keep these precise tools of his trade in good form game after game. sometimes he looks like he just can't get them going. but when that pair is in shape, beware! hope his conditioning is good enough for keeping his legs fit at least for every other game for years to come. Yaya without his mobility is half the man he can be, in fact, not Yaya but just ya.
