Yemen School Bus Attack

More than you?
Its not a competition. Public awareness is one of the key components in helping with conflicts. The only problem is when you try to let people know the conflicting stories you receive over what the Mainstream media is telling people you get labelled a nutcase.
It doesnt matter what links are put up, whether it be directly from the government website or a journalist on the ground within the country, people will always view things they want to.

I'm actually glad the question has been asked and im very happy to share it with the board. Dont ask me to name them though because i dont trust some on here with their warped views and opinions.

Anyway, back on topic.

Yemen, Does Anyone Care?

Some positive news, it's thought that an Al Qaeda leader has been killed in the latest strikes.

And the Houthi's are firing back at the Saudi's. Not so positive as it will continue the Saudi's barbaric strategy and will surely cost more innocent lives.

Havent had time to research this. Currently swamped at work.

Anyone believe this could be a direct conflict of interest?
Our own PM profiteering or her husband profiteering from the sales of BAE systems arms as Capital Group is the major shareholder for BAE.

Stop The War!

Edit.
So it does look like Capital Group is the major shareholder in BAE systems. Although i cant find any direct proof that May is profiteering. Guessing i would have to delve onto the markets to have a look at share prices but it now looks like a direct conflict of interest and our PM has been compromised.

Complicity in the murder of children for your own profit? I am actually struggling to believe this.

Be interesting to see if BAE was involved in Syria and Libya conflicts too.

Edit. BAE Involved in Syria too.

If this has legs can we get a new thread please?

If you did research it properly rather than parroting rubbish from conspiracy theorists, you'd find that it is an independently managed American subsidiary of Capital Group that has a significant stake in BAE Systems, a subsidiary based in California that is nothing to do with Philip May. This stake is around 10% of BAE and it contributes about 0.5% to the overall assets of the subsidiary. May is a relationship manager with Capital Group in the UK.
The fact that a few million pounds worth of missiles have been used in Yemen has absolutely no bearing on the company's share price. The company has a turnover of 18 billion pounds so if an order was placed to replace the used missiles it would amount to an increase in sales of about 0.03%.
The suggestion that May is profiteering is laughable, as is the suggestion that the UK has a vested interest in the war continuing. From a UK point of view, an end to the war would reduce tensions between Saudi and Iran which would have a beneficial effect on the security of oil supplies from the gulf.

BAE does not manufacture missiles so what benefit would it get from any war?

BAE sells weapons platforms yes but those platforms were sold before any war in Syria or Yemen began.

Would BAE selling Typhoons to the RAF (used in Afghanistan, Iraq etc) also amount to a war crime?

Does the Russian support for Assad or Assad himself chemical bombing his own people also amount to war crimes given they have killed thousands and thousands more innocent people in Syria?

your argument around plausible deniability might stand if we didn't have troops out there training the Saudis on using the missile systems etc that we have sold them. (Why we use British troops to train foreign forces how to use weapons sold to them by private companies like BAE and Lockheed Martin is worthy of a thread of its own)

Does the fact that the chemical weapons used by Assad bore the mark of a british manufacturer and Porton Down make you rethink your argument?
