How the f*ck does cahill get in the team , bolton must have let 30 goals in this season , and yet lescott , a regular in the best defence last season , cannot get in the squad. But if capello thinks jones and smalling the yoooonited wonderboys , are better than richards , then anything is possible.

I guess Capello wanted Terry for experience and leadership. Like Lescott, he's totally left sided so there's only room for one.

But I entirely agree about Cahill. I really was shocked he got the nod, because not only has his team been shipping goals, the lad himself has been been in shocking form. His 1st half display against Chelsea was mindboggling, for a 26 year old England player. Capello was watching in the stands....

During commentary, Jones is so bad, they don't mention it. He's like the elephant in the room. And he's so fat, he plays like an elephant. He certainly turns like one. Micah is playing the best he's ever played. I can't think of any football reason Capello would pick Jones over Micah.

Downing and Walcott are quite possibly the worst players i have ever seen. Walcott offers nothing.

Dunno, really. (I've had this argument before and never cleared it up)

Totally left sided is probably the wrong turn of phrase.

He takes penalties with his right foot, but tackles with his left... or something ;)

All I am confident in saying is that he usually plays on that side. He came through alongside Desailly, then Carvalho, then Alex, now Luiz. For England it was him and Ferdinand or Campbell.

It's one of those things you'd not think made that much of a difference. The moment that changed my mind was watching Dunne trying to shift over to the left in the FA Cup tie at Bramall Lane (Balloongate). It was excruciating to watch, he couldn't pick the ball up without getting into trouble.

Yes was a great cross, - his hat trick v Croatia name 1 stand out moment in his career. He cant pass, he cant track back and defend, his end product is often dreadful.

Why Juve want him i do not know. If you compare him to German players around the same age (Marin, Ozil, Goetze etc) hes technically terrible

Even in my local tonight (which is a right mixture of Mancs and Scousers) I defended more than my corner,ref Micah and what a positive outcome it was in favour.
Everyone agreed that Micah was the most improved player,in the full back position,but the Rags couldn`t understand my basic argument,ref Jones,reaching his potential (!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????*********) ahead of anyone else,based on his United connection.
