A question: At what point does the “victim” become part of the issue for his own acquiescence?
In short, if I get called a (Fill in the slur) at work, how long do I have to state I don’t like it before it becomes acquiescence and “accepted” as banter?
I’m not one for victim blaming, but I do feel like victims have a responsibility to alert the world to their victimization, especially pervasive, institutional victimization, if we are ever going to address the issue ON THEIR BEHALF.
