No it doesn't but it does mean that nobody should be regarding him as a "virtuous victim" when he abused others in the exact same manner, either.The tweets from Rafiq are inexcusable and have been rightly condemned. It doesn’t change anything regarding the issue of institutional racism at Yorkshire though.
I abhor what happened to him, but I also abhor his own behaviour, his inability to readily admit to having behaved in the same way before others exposed it, or others believing that this 'cancels out' his behaviour.
