The problem is not capitalism per se, but what capitalism has evolved into.
A tyranny of corporate capital is as much a tyranny as communism or fascism. It's just more subtle, and that very subtlety makes it more insidious and more dangerous. It is much harder to fight against because to recognise that subtle insidiousness requires cerebral effort, not just reading the lies of the Daily Mail, or listening to the daily dose of propaganda on TV.
The best form of society humanity has created is that mix of capitalism and socialism that operated in the West (roughly) between 1945 and 1979. What is sometimes called (often contemptuously) the 'post-war consensus.'
Those who destroyed it - for reasons of personal greed, however much it was dressed up as 'philosophy' - were and are traitors to humanity. A far worse crime than to be traitors to a nation, though they were that as well.
