That midfield won't be pulling up any trees. We can expect a disjointed performance. For all the hype the group stages of the champions league are hard to get excited about.

Yeah, I feel like with a Tues/Sun schedule who does or doesn’t start today doesn’t mean a whole lot for Sunday (for the players that tend to rotate).Especially as Chelsea only played last night.
Not a whole lot of difference in time off between games.

Pleased Nunes is getting a start , we need to see him play a full ninety minutes and he needs to impress , its a fairly strong team and we need to see him get around the pitch and work as hard as the rest of the team , there is no doubting his ability , would be nice for him to assist or score a couple of goals and give a MOTM performance.
Phillips must know the writing os on the wall , Kovacic , Nunes and Lewis starting and Rodri on the bench has to be the end of his career at the Etihad , send him out on loan in January give the lad a chance to go to the World Cup ,hes done nothing wrong he just doesnt fit into our playing style , we need to cut our losses.
