Some great choices on here.

I love Where Eagles Dare, the Eagle Has Landed and A Bridge Too Far.

The one that makes me stop what I'm doing whenever it's on Channel 5 is Operation Daybreak. Always have to watch it all the way through. Based on the true assassination of Reinhardt Heidrich and the bloody reprisals that followed. It benefits a lot from the Prague location at a time when the Iron Curtain was still up. Never a dry eye in the house when it's on, truly immense.

Saving Private Ryan
Kelly's Heroes
1917
Platoon
Enemy at the Gates (not seen this since I was a teenager. Thinking about it, it might be awful watching it again.)
Fury

The Longest Day
A Bridge to Far
Saving Private Ryan
Where Eagles Dare
Dunkirk (John Mills version)
1917
Gallipoli

Never like an Eagle has landed as I read the book first so no way was Donald Sutherland the right person to play Liam Devlin
