Bullet in the Head (1990)
Inglorious Bastards

I wasn’t overly taken with Dunkirk. Thought 1917 was good but I thought that in Dunkirk they didn’t build up the retreat to the beach enough.Another 15/20 mins at the start would have made it better I thought.

How about one performance in a war film that dominates the screen? I'd go for George C Scott in "Patton".

Come & See, what a film.
Katyn, a must see film.
Oh what a lovely, the ending has huge impact.
All quite on the western front, dovetails with above.
Cross of Iron,
Ivans Childhood.
Katyn is great but so sad and all true.
