your dad

I must say my dad was fantastic, died suddenly 11 years ago,we never had much in those times when i was young, but he did his best to keep the family provided..
Only ever hit me once,is when i gave a very fashionable olympic 5 rings on his walnut dash..
Only downside is i wished he would of got to know both of my children..

I love my Dad. Not an overly affectionate guy but always listens, and when push comes to shove I know hes going to be the first guy there. And when he does occasionally show me affection, you know he means it as he doesn't do it easily. My best mate by far, have such a laugh with him and going to City games with him is such a great experience, i'm glad I went through all the torture as a City fan in the 90s just to share the good times with him now.

You just summed up my Dad too mate. He died a week after I got wed 5 years back and I miss him more now than I ever did when he was alive. His ashes are at the memorial garden at City and he's brought us nothing but good luck at the club! Thanks Dad;)
