Your expectations for next season?

If you have Aguero, Silva, Yaya and Kompany and don't win the league over 38 games, the season has been disastrous. The Prem has to be the bare minimum.

If we get knocked out of the cups/champions league, you have to look at the circumstances.

- All 18 points off the newly promoted clubs.
- Win all home league games
- Beat Sunderland

Steady, lad.

We've won the league. No reason to start getting far fetched ideas.

PMSL at how accurate this is, would love to just win the league, think it'll be hard just because of the sheer amount of onternationals we have after the World Cup.

A win at anfield would also be nice

Did you know the above players played 5 times together this season? (In the league). And not 1 entire game. Staggering, but true. They managed only 76 minutes in any one game, and a total of something like 228 minutes all season.

Maybe that's why it wasn't a walk in the park.

Strengthen again in summer.
Challenge to the later stages of all 4 Competitions
Make at least the quarters in the CL
Make a domestic Cup Final and hopefully win it
Stay in the PL title chase until the last day or win it before
This, ...or win the PL on the last day.

Yaya will be away at the Africa Cup of Nations in January/February. He'll be a big miss for the PL and the cup competitions.

Yaya has spoken about retiring from internationals after the world cup so that's not a definite yet.

To have no-one sent off for stupid reasons

To not get caught on the counter-attack

To develop a shoot-on-sight policy

Improve the corners-to-goals ratio

A strengthened squad to allow a proper rotation regime to keep everyone fresh

To not lose a league game [ needs a large dollop of luck ] but worth aiming for

More games with an atmosphere like the Hamburger one [ no idea how though ]

Apart from all that , carry on playing champagne football, scoring glorious goals , and being the classiest club with the classiest fans

That's interesting. Is it a firm statistic? Because that was exactly my impression right through the season. Those are our four unquestioned world class players. It is staggering that we are Premiership champions, when you think about it. And the take home message is this: whatever your criticisms might be of the 18 other players of the squad, of the quality of this or that player, it means that the squad is the team, henceforth.
So don't tinker with it. Get Nastasic back to full fitness. Let Jovetic strut his stuff. Maybe one player in as cover for Zab. That's it. Tell them to just carry on.
