Your Fav. Breed Of Dog?

Here's a pic of our Sparky (I know - maybe we should change his name now) - English Springer Spaniel and a great companion.

before Sparky was Rusty - a Flat Coated Retriever

Both are great dogs and couldn't choose between either but sadly Rusty is no longer with us and we still miss him even after these last two years :(

Border Collie EVERY TIME.

Intelligence, playfulness, looks, loyalty.....just everything really.

Rhodesian ridgebacks - loyal loving and incredibly lazy! Got two - Vegas and Blaze and a little kitten that beats the crap out of the pair of them. Still they've seen off some would be burglars....

Heres my boy!! My all time favourite breed, had afew over the years. Some Bast*rd had starved him, he couldn't even stand up when the RSPCA found him. He's doing ok now and a lovely dog!!

First time I have tried to post pics, so hope this works!

Now THAT is a beautiful dog!!

We also have a German Shep (in addition to our Border Collie). She was inherited when a relation died. The relation had her as a farm dog and she sat by him for 3 hours when he collapsed in the farmyard one day last May. She wouldn't let anyone near him and even the Police were scared to approach her.

She now lives with us, and a more gentle dog I have never seen. She looks like your dog (same markings) but long haired. She is a delight.

We used to have a German Shep of our own but had to put her to sleep last January, and then we got a Border Collie. Gwen and Molly are very different but each very typical of their breed and VERY loveable.

Jeez Sharon, that 12 months has flown by hasn't it? 11 months since I lost Shadow. But her Ladyship (Nell) was the best rescue I made:-)

Hi Bluebird!!!

Yes, nearly 12 months now since we got Gwen (Border Collie). Best breed EVER we think.

Hubby used to be smitten with German Sheps but I had a Border when I was a kid and knew that breed was great. He now agrees.

Gwen is now going to obedience classes (she was a bit mental when she came to us) and doing fine. Best dog we have ever had.

How is Nell? I know she was a rescue dog. Any problems?
