I've got a patterdale crossed with a border terrier. We got him off some gypos who where going to kill it because it wouldnt hunt rabbits.

2 months into having him, the little b"stard kills a rabbit.

He went through a stint, killing 3 rabbits. But hes not killed any since

my mate has a patterdale and it's a game little fucker and loyal as they come.

Right dog lovers, slightly off topic but I'm thinking of getting a dog, problem is I have 2 cats one which is disabled and pretty much house bound. What breeds would be good with cats I like Jack Russells and have had a Border x Lakeland terrier before think both of these breeds might have to much of hunting nature to them but I could be wrong? I can walk the dog twice a day and have fields very near although my partner and I do work 9 - 5 so any advise on suitable breeds would be very welcomed.

Cheers

Yeh very loyal dog. Quite funny aswell, when you go away on your jolly's, it has a paddy and just sulks for the first few days your back.

Bichon Frise mate. Great with cats, great with kids, great with dogs and great with people. Leaving dogs on their own isn't advised obviously as they love company but our dog has been left on her own for long times during the day at times and is fine when we come back home
