Kicked off in the ground and outside even in the pubs and nightclubs later on in the evening blues were still kicking off, town centre looked like a war zone Sunday morning
Reported in the local paper that even a police horse was slashed with a knife on one of it's back legs

I remember hundreds of city fans on blackburn train station after game & burnley train came in ( they’d been away at bolton i think?) que absolute mayhem!! Mad away days the 80’s!!

There’s no unique grounds anymore, they’re all the same, it’s the day, the people your with and occasionally the game itself that make things memorable. Southampton always ends up being eventful with the mammoth journey down there.

Norwich, Fulham and Ipswich were always nice days out. Some nice pubs along the way. Always liked going to Villa.
