Fulham. Superb setting, old ground, low roof so good atmosphere. Wasn’t as good when it was an open end
Always liked Highbury, never saw us win there in 5 tries. Also had the largest police horses I ever saw.
Highbury was always fun off the pitchDitto seemed to get hammered every time I went
81 Everton away cup game,we had behind goal and down the side,Power equilized we went crazy one of the best atmospheres ever.
That was my 1st visit to ewood! Iirc they were top & we were 2nd? we went top with the win i think? long time ago!! do remenber we took thousands & blues kicking off in their end when kinsey scoredI was at that one, carnage outside after the game..
The replay (3-1) was absolutely rammed 60K plus easy, you couldn't breathe in the Kippax.. Official att was around 52500, good old Swailsey haha!!
Forest - remember Tony Henry putting us 2-1 up when Forest never lost at home, going crazy, ended up losing 3-2
Coventry (Highfield Rd) Won and saw myself on Match of the day when I got home
Villa Park - Gary Shaw scoring late on to beat us
Leeds - won, Kazzi Deyna scored
Leicester (Filbert Street) - stood in a hole behind the goal, all you could see was the footballers feet..!
Derby (Baseball Ground) Got hammered, think it was 6-0..
Blackburn Steve Kinsey late on won
1-0
Notts County.. 3 down at HT and pitch invasion (not me I was a good boy.. Ha..!) lost 3-2
All brilliant aways..
City have given me so memorable moments, win or lose..!
