Getting a Man U calendar from first wife’s mad aunt who didn’t realise there were two teams in Manchester (well one actually). Ex told her it was the wrong club but got the reply “well it’s still Manchester”.

My favourite one to look back on is the 06/07 goal forcefield that was erected on January 2nd and didn't come down until August. If only because it is truly unique in our history, but mostly because that was the last proper crisis we ever had.

A year later we were right on the verge of administration. I'd say that counts as a crisis.

True. I did mean on the pitch as a team, as opposed to the boardroom stuff (which I appreciate has bigger implications but tried to keep my post focused on things on the pitch).

Kinky get called a fat lazy twat from some of our fans that day, cemented that away trip as fuckin awful for me.
