only as it's simple to use and very little training is needed.......not accurate at all

You can bury it in sand or drop it in a river, it will still fire. It's a beast of a weapon. Piss's all over most assault rifles.

I would prefer to take care of my gun and know its going to shoot straight!....the AK has its strengths but always liked the G3 in its various forms

Some very knowledgeable gun owners on here, is anyone a member of gun clubs or on any facebook gunlove pages etc?

not a member but ive been to a couple of BASC meets

Only ever fired a real gun on one occasion and it certainly wasn't in a controlled environment. I was on holiday in America and the friends who we were staying with had family who owned a cabin and their own land next to a river. We went their for a days fishing and drinking and they got the guns out. By this time I'd had nearly finished a crate of Becks and was well the worse for wear.
A couple of the lads were real gun nuts and from memory they had a Daewoo DP-51 40 cal

a .22 pistol but I can't remember it's name, another anonymous 9mm and a .44 Magnum.

They also had a .22 semi automatic rifle with a telescopic scope and a Chinese made AK47.

I shot every empty bottle, a few cans and a fish. I tried to shoot a turtle with the AK but by that time I was too pissed and ended up just shooting everywhere but the turtle.
My favourite of the day was the .22 rifle. Really accurate and really fast firing. The Magnum sounded like a cannon going off.
Fantastic day out and a real eye opener into the gun culture over there.

worrying that you can end up pissed with a gun exactly why they should be banned
