Your favourite programme when you were a kid?

Belle and Sebastien
The Flashing Blade
White Horses
Robinson Crusoe
Casey Jones
The Banana Splits
Dr Who
The Tomorrow People
Pipkins

Wacky Races/Dastardly and Muttley/Pigeon

Rentaghost

Chigley/Trumpton/Camberwick Green (end credits still freak me out, seeing that episode's character disappear into the musical box, almost like a funeral)

Rhubarb

Tiswas

Basil Brush

I loved all of these. I must admit that I had forgotten all about Rentaghost which I used to really enjoy as a kid. I think there was another ghost one for kids called 'The Ghosts of Motley Hall' or something similar. I used to love that one too, though my memory of it is a bit hazy.

It's a shame there isn't a channel playing this kind of stuff. Would probably get plenty of nostalgic viewers.

In the 1960's I loved Fireball XL 5, Thunderbird's, Joe 90, Supercar, Stingray and Gilligan's Island, they were brilliant as was the cartoon "Journey To The Centre Of The Earth" and the the "Time Tunnel"

By the 1970's I was a teenager and would be working by May of 1975, but "The Persuaders" was great in the early 1970's.

When I was a teenager.. One of my favorite things to do was get out early and head home in order to catch the afternoon rerun of the Rockford Files. 25 plus years on that is still my favorite show of all time.

We used to have a game of footy after school every single day without exception, and then one day no one was available, but it was slipped out that every fucker was off home to watch Four Feather Falls. I generally couldn't stand puppets on a string shows but this was top dollar!!
I always found the puppets in it a bit scarey. Tales of the Riverbank and Rupert Bear(original) for me.

Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Thunderbirds, Why Don’t You, Magpie, Blue Peter, Crackerjack, Shazam, How, Swapshop, Chorlton and the Wheelies, H R Puff & Stuff, Banana Splits, Robinson Crusoe, Pink Panther, Mr Benn, Trumpton & Camberwick Green, Bill & Ben, Andy Pandy , Hectors House.
I used to buzz off all them programmes.
