Your favourite programme when you were a kid?

Pipkins

Wacky Races/Dastardly and Muttley/Pigeon

Rentaghost

Chigley/Trumpton/Camberwick Green (end credits still freak me out, seeing that episode's character disappear into the musical box, almost like a funeral)

Rhubarb

Tiswas

Basil Brush

The original Sesame Street from the mid 70’s

Six Million Dollar Man

Battle of the Planets

Monkey

Space 1999 ( is there a better theme tune anywhere?)

The Tomorrow People ( although it used to creep me out a bit, and that title music and flashing images

Doctor Who ( Tom Baker)

This and Idaho Blue's list. Add in a load of Hannah Barbera and I'm in heaven.

Almost all the cartoons were great, (of course Scooby Doo and Hong Kong Phooey) - but the things I enjoyed the most, in fact almost had cravings for, was when they put them all together e.g. in competitions like the Olympics/round the world chase races.

As I absolutely adored Sesame Street and Swap Shop, I think it was something to do with the getting together of groups of beloved people/characters that made me feel good - like a family I wish I'd had,...hack, sniff!
