oldham away,89/90 season, won 1-0 on the plastic pitch, gary megsons first city goal(i think),we had the full away end and both sides of the ground up to the half way line,it seemed every fan had a banana and it was freezing, surprise surprise!!! i remember trying to get on a gm bus outside the ground and being bodychecked by the police horses,oh to be in the 80`s again...:)

I was at that game. God it was cold. I think the coldest ive ever been at a match.

My first away game was Everton away 1978. Sat in the everton end with my dad and got a few funny looks.

First away game with mates was Oldham 1984. Walking along the road with 3 mates, we tagged on to a load of city fans who had got off the train, one of whom decided to throw a brick through a pub window!

You have a good memory I cant remember the fine detail
I used to have a Vauxhall Viva in 1980 broke down every time you went through a puddle water straight in through the grill and over the dizzy
