Plymouth Argyle at Maine Road in 1987, September I think tho may be out. We won 2-1 - I can't remember our scorers - was 2 of Moulden, Adcock or Varadi (anyone with a good memory, feel free to clear that up for me). I remember Perry Suckling was in net and dropped a howler for their goal. I remember walking back to the car after the match absolutely buzzing, yet a little confused whether Kenny Clement's tash was real or not.

Paul Stewart joined us later that season and it felt like the come-back was starting. Twenty-two years later and I still think I was right ;)

Stewart played mate all that season he scored v Argyle we went 1 down then Stewart scored then Varadi got the winner.

Leeds at Elland Road in, I think, 78-79 season. Kiddo got the equaliser with a 20 yard volley in a 1-1. Was with my dad in with the Leeds fans and he had to physically restrain me from celebrating when we scored.

Thanks for clearing that up - I was sure he'd scored until someone told me he only joined after Christmas. Just checked and he joined March 87 so you're spot on - date of my first game was Sat 15 Aug '87. Almost 22 years to the day, that calls for a beer :)
