Your first City shirt

1956 no sponsor no number no name on the back made by Bukta and bought for about ten shillings from Eddie Philipsons sports shop on Rochdale Road, Harpurhey. All cotton, sky blue long sleeves with white V neck. No picture. I think it rotted.

At the risk of sounding like an old fart, mine was the original black and red striped away shirt. My dad presented me on the morning of the 69 FA cup final with the full kit. Watched the game wearing it with my dad, uncle and grandad. 11 years old and was given my first taste of beer that day !

Around this time I remember getting this full kit for my birthday - probably March 69 or 70. I remember the socks more than anything else - Black with red top and two white bands

Had the 83/4 SAAB full home kit when I was around 7. Got nicked off the washing line. It broke my heart, gutted. Still winds me up thinking about it now! So if you were the fucker who nicked a seven year old's kit from a washing line in Fallowfield all those years ago, I hope you fucking die!

My first was the bright orange keeper shirt from the 96-97 season, was for my 7th or 8th bday off my dad, had Dibble on the back of it, was only because i met him a few days earlier and then was heartbroken when he left the club just after i got the shirt, it was never to be worn again
