It's all about the NES. Loved it. Had loads of games on it... remember Terminator 2: Judgement Day being absolutely solid. Don't think I ever got past the second level.

Is it just me, or were games more difficult back then? (Some were fucking impossible)

Atari 2600 - this was the beginning of gaming....classic stuff and great fun with mates...always remember the ferking controllers breaking too easy (especially on sports games..wiggle wiggle).....how many ferking hours did we waste playing space invaders!!

We had that orange Binatone (actually it may have been an even shitter version but it was Binatone and it was bright orange), I had forgotten all about it. Assuming a Spectrum doesn't count, I didn't get another one until I got myself a MegaDrive when I was a student.

Had the Atari 2600 then the Sega Mastersystem. Next one was an imported Megadrive, Yhe Genesis. Mithered my dad for weeks till he relented & bought me one. Got a copy of Altered Beasts with it & the graphics were brilliant. What I best remember was being able to plug in a pair of headphones & listen to "stereo" sound.
