Isn’t he that Scottish bloke?
He was English one year. (Well, ok, British).

Where was you satFuck y'all, I'm having the City v Stoke final! Guy next to me, thirties-forties, was having a gently controlled weep, whilst his young son was quite amused by it!
Watched this when I was 8 years old and I STILL get chills even now . . . "He is moving like a TREMENDOUS MACHINE." One of the most famous calls in the history of American sports. The most dominant performance in the history of American sports too, outside Tiger Woods at the US Open in 2000.
Nooooo! For the semi I was on the front row by the corner flag - the one Yaya ran to after he'd scored. I've got a fantastic picture of the team piled on top of him. For the final I was in another corner but I think it was the one diametrically opposite to the semi.Where was you sat
If it was Level 1 behind the goal where Yaya scored it could have been me
Goran ivanesivic winning Wimbledon is in my top 3 also watching frankel demolish top group horses and also in 1992 a small but select group of Hungarian swimmers took the olympics by storm but the greatest football feat was when a little fat footballer called ferenc puskas rocked up at Wembley and demolished at the time the best country in the world at football .
Darren Clarke is right up there for me. Pretty much the 'Golfing Family' from both sides of the pond, coming together to look after one of their own. From Woosnam picking him, Ewan Murray who was instrumental in preparing him to play both physically and emotionally, Westwood protecting him and the fans carrying him along. His opening tee shot and subsequent birdie is one of sports truly iconic moments. Not sure if mentioned but for emotion Darren Clarke teeing off at the Ryder Cup not long after his wife died of cancer. The support the crowd gave him on that first tee was unbelievable.
How he even hit the ball I do not know.
Tigers first major after his dad died and the Ryder cup win for Olle after Seve Died. He broke down in front of the cameras with the world watching.
Yes win 1-0 and hold on. I had a tenner @ 45/1 on the first goal scorer and 1-0. Cannot remember his name but him scoring first and the Greeks winning 1-0 was nailed on.Would have loved to have been in Greece when they won Euro 2004. Awful football to win it really but they found the formula to go all the way.
Charisteas was the scorer. Nice little winner there at 45/1!Yes win 1-0 and hold on. I had a tenner @ 45/1 on the first goal scorer and 1-0. Cannot remember his name but him scoring first and the Greeks winning 1-0 was nailed on.
That's the man, yes he had been the first goal scorer and Greece had wom 1-0 a couple of times in that tournament.Charisteas was the scorer. Nice little winner there at 45/1!
