Adebayor doesn't seem too popular with voters. Sorry to keep harping on about this but i don't think Gerrard or Torres are the right way to go for the club, let's build our own legend not take the shadow of somebody else's. Boateng looks like he's coming and he absolutely fits the profile of the kind of player we should be signing ie. young, good and not too famous yet

Completely agree about Gerrard and Torres. Gerrard will be 30 by the time the new season starts, and I can honestly say I don't want him at City. If he was the player he was 5 years ago, I'd bite your hand off. Torres is a lot harder to say no to, but with the £70mil they are talking about and his injuries (we don't want another Lescott/Santa Cruz do we?), it would have to be a no. The money could be better spent elsewhere.
