Well now, just had a quick trawl through the 17 pages, and I may be wrong, but I can see no mention of Freddie and the Dreamers!

Not geographically 'from' Manchester but very much steeped in that Manchester sound of 89-91.

Imo the Charlatans are the greatest band of the last 30 odd years.

Consistently produced top level music for over 3 decades, adapted their sound, had their little 'phases' and always produce a top live show.

Consistently very good.

Charlatans are fantastic but for the sake of my sanity I have the option of not including them in the top 5. Theres just too many

That’s an excellent question but one I can’t answer. Dem A Sus was always a floor filler at the Contie I remember.

Sad Sweet Dreamer is the only one I can remember from Sweet Sensation too.
