Your Worst City Manager Since You Became A Blue ?

Alan Ball all the way for me,

Do we still have the record for most managers in a calander year or have newcastle beat us yet?

Ball > Hartford > Coppell > Neal > Clark in the same year.

Here is just a sample of some of the results under Frank Clark during the 97-98 season:

Home:
1-1 v Tranmere
1-2 v Norwich
0-1 v Stoke
2-3 v Port Vale
0-1 v Huddersfield
0-1 v Bury

Away:
1-1 v Bury
3-1 v Stockport

At least when Alan Ball got us relegated it was from the Prem, by the slimmest of margins. At least Ball didn't waste 3mill on Lee Bradbury!!!

ot to be Alan Ball - when you look at the team he inherited..............it was deffo top 10 stuff and he ballsed it up big time

1) Alan Ball
2) Frank Clarke
3) Steve Coppell
4) Phil Neal
5) Big Mal 2nd time
6) Stuart Pearce

Ball and Clark were equally as bad the reason ive plumped for Ball was because the twat actually thought he was a good manager where as im sure Clarke knew he was out of his depth.

Alan Ball as the worst permanent manager. If we're including caretakers, then Phil Neal runs him bloody close.

Good shout above though on Malcom Allison, second time around. He took all the good work done by Tony Book, shipped out all the talent and experience, and brought in lower league journeymen who couldn't lace their boots.
