Your XI vs. Crystal Palace

Re: City v Palace - Official Match Thread

I expect to see quite a few changes for the game against Palace. And although the squad hasn't had too much time to gel, I'd still expect our "second string" to walk all over Palace, and in fairness all the players are fighting for a place in the team so I'd be hoping for nothing less than a ruthless performance.

If myself and Mark Hughes are on the same page....!!!

Taylor (No need to risk our best signing Given)

Zabaleta Onouha Lescott Garrido

Weiss (future star) De Jong with Ireland/Barry Petrov (deserves a game)

Bellamy Robinho (He's dying for a goal and that would get him back on top form)

We can always have the likes of Given, Toure/Dunne, SWP, Tevez/Ade on the bench

Re: City v Palace - Official Match Thread

Does anyone know if tickets will be available on the gate? I'm a Southern Blue, who doesn't get paid until tomorrow.

Re: City v Palace - Official Match Thread

I would like to see the following:

............................Given...............
......Zabaleta...Onouha...Toure...Bridge
.Sweep........Ireland.....Barry.................
.........Tevez......Adebayor.......Petrov...

Lescott won't be available, Dunne's on his way out, Robinho's poor away. But the whole worry of this season was how quickly the new acquisitions would gel - so play the first team. We're two games into the season, nobody's tired.

And I'd like to see us progress.

Re: City v Palace - Official Match Thread

Anyone know how many tickets we've sold for tomorrow?

anyone going to the game?
Three of us leaving from Carrington at midday tomorrow. Should have been four but one has ducked. We now have a spare ticket, so if someone in the area wants to come with us give me a shout. My mate`s driving. 20 quid ticket plus contribution to petrol.

After last nights shambles, can`t see there being tickets sold at the gate. Hope I`m wrong for your sake.

A Palace fans view

The only way we'll get a 0-0 is we have 9 fat men side by side on the goal line with two more lying on their heads for the entire 90 minutes. We need to re-sign Tomas Brolin and others before Thursday.
