I like the cut of those chaps' jibs. One of them thinks they can win the match. What can I say, he's probably right...

In all seriousness, this is the first study of it's kind, and potentially groundbreaking. Is £120m, injected intravenously, a suitable vaccine for typicalcityitis?

I think we'll have a near full strength team out to save any embarrassment to be honest.

I can see Lescott gettin a cameo appearance at some point but i don't think we'll see sylvinho because he's not trained for a while.

I'd like Weiss to start and i think Ned needs to start. I;m surprised Ned's not seen any action this season yet.

Only 2 of them would get anywhere near our team now, and even then they wouldn't be guaranteed a start.

City are prone to slipping up in the cup, and a decent cup run is vital, so I think we'll field a strong side. Luckily, that means we could put out the following side and still be confident of a comfortable win:

Silvinho (realistically though Bridge will play)

Can't see us changing from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2, so I reckon Barry and Ireland may well play. If there's one minor concern I have this season is the relative lack of midfielders who can fit this system. Not that I'm worried, mind you. 2-0 to City.
