Zabaleta confirms he will stay at City

Best wishes, he was starting to look off the pace in the Premier League last season, though he was injured for long spells, but still probably the right move for all parties.

£2.5m is not alot, but atleast we don't have to give him for free.
 
The first real "legend" of the post-takeover era to leave us. Not been this gutted since we sold SWP to Chelsea. Unfortunately this is going to be a feeling we'll have to deal with a lot in the next few years as many greats/favourites are shifted on. Got a feeling he'll be back at City the second he hangs up his playing boots and we'll sing your song loud until that day comes.
 
Was a privilege to have him involved at the club, one of the most honest footballers around. Sad day.
 
Very disappointed. Fabulous player with a perfect attitude. Zabba must feel unwanted here to move? He would be a great character to settle any future South Americans or Spaniards into our club and is still relatively young at 31. I hope he will come back in some role in the future.
